One Democratic State (ODS) in Palestine, sometimes called "the one-state solution," means the creation of a single democratic state in the whole of historic Palestine; Gaza, the West Bank and Israel.

The citizens of this state would be all present citizens of those lands, plus all Palestinian refugees and their descendants.

This campaign group has two aims:

• to support Palestinians and Israelis who are working towards the goal of one democratic secular state in historic Palestine.

• to raise awareness of and advocate for ODS.

In 2013 we commissioned Joe Cook to make the Al-Awda key sculpture shown above. Entitled 'Higher State,' it is made of steel, and stands 3m high. The concrete base configures the star of David.
